Alt-w, the annual award scheme set up to support Scottish creative
entrepreneurial talent and the creation of web-based and interactive digital
innovation is pleased to announce the successful award-winners for 2004.

Riccardo Iacono, Minttu Mantynen, Holger Mohaupt, Iain Morrision, Euan
Sutherland, Andrew Tullis have all been successful in being granted awards.
Open to Scottish-based researchers, designers and producers within the
creative industries, awards were given to recent graduates and established

film production.
As well as 11 production awards, 4 projects by Kris Bird & Kerry
Mullaney, Fergus C Murray, Martin Parker and Maus Sulter have received

links remote Highland communities, to non-linear web-cast film narratives and
sound software generation.
Jointly supported by Scottish Screen, Dundee City Council, Scottish
Enterprise Tayside, Dundee College and the Universities of Dundee and Abertay,
Alt-w is a scheme that offers the unique opportunity for media producers to take
time out to invent and to raise the international profile of Scotland's new
media industry.
