BBC3 is looking for ideas for animated series with episodes of 1 minute duration, aimed at BBC3's core audience, ideally with the potential to develop into a longer format and possibly transfer to BBC1 or BBC2. Animation ideas should have a general adult appeal, to both male and female viewers. A lot of BBC3's output has been very 'dark', so they're now looking for more upbeat, jolly, life enhancing ideas for this slot; and the cast should also feature regular characters instead of constantly changing ones.

Length: 6-13 episodes of 60 seconds duration. Episodes should be self contained with no continuing serial element.

Slot: To be broadcast between existing half hour programming

Medium: Any style of animation is fine

Audience: 24-35, both male and female.
