Due to popular demand, aimhi has gathered more information for you on the EMR scheme. The British Chambers of Commerce manage the Export Marketing Research Scheme on behalf of UK Trade & Investment. The scheme is to help and encourage UK companies to undertake overseas marketing research prior to developing a strategy for market entry or further investment in an overseas market.
Companies with less than 250 employees, who wish to research a specific market for exporting British products and services to are eligible for financial grants (up to 50% of eligible costs) and professional advice including:
1. Free independent advice on how to go through the process of doing your market research
2. Up to half the costs of your inhouse projects
3. Up to half the costs of your consultancy fees
4. Up to a third of the cost of purchasing a report or commissioning a desk research project
