NESTA has wide experience at investing at this stage through its Invention and Innovation Programme, and now through the Creative Pioneer Programme, which concentrates on recent graduates. Mark Fenwick - Business Support Manager will be comparing the support available when starting his first venture in 1987 with the support for Creative Enterprise now. How and why it is changing, and in particular the learning distilled from Charles Leadbeater and Richard Florida’s understanding of the Creative Class.
Neil McGuire who has a business proposal for a new approach to branding, Sarah Raffel who has innovative approach to Jewellery retail, and Ulla Winkler interactive designer will share their experiences of coming out of the Creative Pioneer Programme and starting their businesses.
