Think you've got the next Will & Grace? Dreaming of a career as a writer for US television? Then don't miss the opportunity to learn from a professional in this exciting one-day event from Scottish Screen.
Harrison Reiner, Story Analyst for CBS and Screenwriting Instructor at UCLA School of Film & Television, presents an insight into cracking the US market for TV writers aspiring to cross the Atlantic. The session will include a general overview of US TV conventions, US/UK market differences, a case study and an interactive session and will be followed by a Q & A and networking opportunity/drinks reception. Participants are asked to bring a typed A4 sheet of 2-5 programme ideas they would like to develop further - this is a fantastic opportunity as some of these ideas will be developed during the session!
