The next meeting of the EU funded project 'Integrate To Innovate' will take place in Bodo, Norway between the 14-15 April 2005. aimhi, as lead partner, and FUSION Innovation will be representing Scotland in this million euro project.
The EU Northern Periphery Programme project i2i – integrate to innovate is proposed to develop a “network of networks” whereby we can contribute to and gain value from this dynamic network. The project aims to develop an integrated process to facilitate and support innovation within complex partnerships – micro/SME sectors, academia and public authorities – and the positive exploitation of their inherent knowledge, expertise and personal and professional networks, resulting in new business opportunities across the sectors. It will also provide explicit guidance and mentoring in how to develop effective transnational, collaborative networking relationships, through the creation of a guide and learning tools, and offers the opportunity for individual, organisational and systemic learning through case studies, exchange of experience through meetings and conferences, as well as developing a competence in cross-sector, multi-disciplinary networking.
