aimhi is working with the University of the Highlands & Islands Millennium Institute to put together a consortium to look at potential ESF bids for late 2005 or early 2006. There are two separate bids being considered, one for boosting the participation of women in the creative industries, and the second one for facilitating the entry of new college graduates into the creative industries in the HIE network area. aimhi members who are interested in working with, or being part of this particular consortium, should get in touch with jsim@aim-hi.org.

This is the 4th EU funded project that aimhi is looking to get involved in. The others are the networking project Integrate to Innovate (approved and running), the ESF Skillsco bid (pending confirmation), and the European Digital Media Network 2 program (awaiting the EU’s decision in September).
