Kate Vogel, the Channel 4 Commissioner for the strand known as 3 Minute Wonders, will headline a Channel4 Ideasfactory event in Inverness (at the Screen Machine near Floral Hall) on Thursday, September the 8th 2005.

The event will focus on film and television opportunities available to aspiring content makers living in the north of Scotland. Other speakers will include Norrie Maclaren from aimhi, Julia Caithness from Scottish Screen, Trish Shorthouse from the Highlands & Islands Film Commission, Donna Hamilton from Mediadesk, Alastair Smith from Skillset, as well as independent production companies based in the Highlands & Islands.

This is a good chance to meet most of the active film and television professionals working in the Highlands & Islands and Scotland in general. The event will start at 10am and lunch will be provided.
