On Wednesday 2nd November 2005, as part of the MAC5 event, the new Skillsco
<
http://www.skillsco.org.uk> website was launched in Inverness in front of local, national and international delegates.
The new site provides information on training and learning options to support business growth in the creative industries sector and industry practitioners can now register with the site to access information and course material.
The types of information and resources available on the Skillsco site include news of training events, online learning materials, statistical reports, assessment tools, opportunities to chat with experts and peers, up to date industry news, case studies demonstrating ideas for business
improvement as well as links to hundreds of additional sources of information and assistance.
All site content will be introduced over the next few months and will be updated regularly to ensure the site is fresh and relevant to business needs. Whether you are providing learning opportunities or want to undertake a training course, there is something at Skillsco for you.
In addition to providing content for industry practitioners, we would also like to feature case studies about successful skills development initiatives, whether at a personal, company or industry organisation level. Training providers may also wish to contribute relevant case studies, all of which can be emailed directly to
office@skillsco.org.uk
The SkillsCo Project is managed by Aimhi on behalf of Highlands & Islands
Enterprise (HIE) and is jointly funded by HIE and ESF. Bookmark this address today
