Glasgow Media Access Centre (GMAC) has a history of nurturing, training and developing emerging film talent in Scotland through Cineworks and DigiCult. This year, Cineworks and DigiCult will have a NEW commissioning process aligned to a NEW training programme.
Successful applicants will enter a Training and Development programme that will take place on a part time basis, evenings and weekends over an eight week time period in Talent Pools across Scotland. This will be bespoke training and development for Writers, Directors and Producers.
After this development period Talent Pool members will pitch their developed projects to an Industry panel. Commissioning of the films will take place in early 2007. 7 films will be commissioned from the GMAC Shorts talent pool - a mixture of Cineworks and DigiCult. In the case of Cineworks, the commissioned projects will be a mix of narrative fiction, animation and documentary. To apply please go to www.g-mac.co.uk to download an application form and guidelines. Deadline for applications is 6pm, Wednesday, 22 November, 2006
