A final workshop for the Tourism Challenge Fund is scheduled on January 19, 2007 at the Inverness Thistle Hotel from 1330-1630. The session is organised by aimhi, Fusion and HIE with the intention to help Challenge Fund applicants work out the final kinks in their proposals.

The New Heritage Tourism Challenge Fund offers £120,000 of development funding to groundbreaking ideas in the use of technology and creative content to connect heritage and tourism. Entries are judged on the basis of innovation, commercial sensibility, and evidence of cross-sectoral collaboration between the tourism, heritage, creative and technology industries.

The closing date to submit full proposals for the competition is the 31st January, 2007
