I have just arrived back in the scotland following my trip to Norway to attend the I2I Conference in Bodo. Aimhi is the lead partner in this Northern Peripheries Project (NPP) which integrates partners from Iceland, Scotland, Norway, Sweden and Finland.
I2I has now been running for almost three years and will be completed in November '07. The project brings together public, private and academic partners to discuss the formation and working of business networking and collaboration. The overall out come will be published in the form of a Best Practice Guide and disseminated through the I2I website in conjunction with case studies and other materials.
Of course the different partners have varied interests and areas of focus. The most recent partnership meeting was combined with a conference on Cod Farming and Aqua-culture and Fusion arranged for a couple of Scottish fish farming interests to attend, to aid in business networking.
The next meeting of the partnership will be in August and will be hosted by our Finish partner, the Helsinki School of Economics. If any business are interested in atending conference then please make enquiries with Fusion.
