The UK Film Council has announced that a three year funding program to improve facilities and access of independent cinemas. A total sum of £500,000 is available during the first year of the initiative. Awards of up to 50% of the project costs, up to a maximum award of £50,000 are available. Though applications must be received by the 30th November '07.
