BAFTA Call for entries: Short Film and Short Animation

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts is now accepting entries for the Short Film and Short Animation Awards.  The deadline for entries is Wednesday 31 October 2007.

Short Film
The Short Film Award is open to entries from the UK only and provides an opportunity for British filmmakers to demonstrate their skills to the world. This award encourages the essential growth and development of new talent within the British film industry.  Films are only eligible if they have a substantial British contribution in the majority of the following areas: Production Company, Finance, Director, Producer, Writer, principal cast and crew. 

Short Animation
The Short Animation Award is open to UK productions only. Films are only eligible if they have a substantial British contribution in the majority of the following areas: Production Company, Finance, Director, Producer, Writer, key animation/creative talent.
