Mark Thompson speaking at the opening of BBC Scotland's new headquarters at Pacific Quay. He committed his organisation to increasing network deliveries from Scotland, at least 17% as part of their strategy of shifting their operations out of London and the South East of England.
He further commented that in addition to relaunching existing programmes for their new home at Pacific Quay, that they will be seeking to commission fresh ideas and new Scottish talent with more Scottish based drama, comedy, factual, arts and children's programming.
