Skillset Scotland Continuing Professional Development, Company Development and Freelance Training Bursary Funding Programmes.
The Skillset Scotland Training Fund aims to invest up to £500,000 developing skills in Scotland over the course of 2007 and 2008. Scottish Film, television and interactive media production companies and freelancers have already received more than £200,000 in grants with a further £300,00 to be distributed in the next 6 months.
The fund aims to deliver the Sector Skills Agreement for Scotland – a Skills Strategy for television, film, interactive media, animation and games. Skillset are now inviting applications from companies, training providers and freelancers to the various strands.
