Film nominated for First Light Award

Munchatreeaforest, a film made by the children of Knoydart and produced by Sam Firth, has been recently nominated for a First Light Movie Award in the Best Film By Under 12's Category.

This is a national award for all films made by young people across the UK, a mini Oscars for young people. Munchatreeaforest is down to the top three.

Munchatreeaforest is an honest and thoughtful film about the feelings and thoughts of Knoydart's young people aged 4-11, towards the destruction of their local forest. .

For Munchatreeaforest to win it needs to be voted the best film on the filmstreet.co.uk, a film making website for the under 12's.
