Enter our competition and win a career makeover in 2008
Skillset Scotland is giving you the chance to win a 'money can't buy' prize. If you work in or have experience in Television, Film or Interactive Media in Scotland, and want to kick start your career in 2008, Skillset is offering:
- An all expenses paid trip to attend the Berlinale Talent Campus at the Berlin International Film Festival
- A week with Sky Games, learning about video production and animation for iTV. Plus two days in Denmark with one of Sky's interactive games developers
- A week with Scotland's leading independent production company IWC and two days' tailor-made camera training with Moving Vision
Five competition runners up will win free one-to-one careers advice sessions.
How to enter
There is a different question for each of the three prizes. Select with prize you want to go for and send us your answer to the relevant question:
- Berlinale Talent Campus prize: What in your opinion has been the most influential British film of the last five years and why? (maximum 500 words)
- Sky Games prize: Outline your idea for an interactive game or content for an interactive service to support a Sky One ( www.skyone.co.uk ) programme (maximum 800 words)
- IWC prize: Outline your ideas for a new TV format for primetime Saturday night (maximum 500 words - your idea will not be shared with any third party)
Your response should be sent to competitions@skillset.org. You must at the same time send us your CV in order to demonstrate evidence of your commitment to working in the audio visual industries, whether through work experience, work placements, working on student media-related projects, or in a professional capacity.
Deadline for entries is 9am Monday 21 January 2008.
Competition terms
To qualify to enter, you must be at least 18 years old and a resident living or working in Scotland at time of application.
