NEW HERITAGE TOURISM CHALLENGE FUND

What: An event to launch a trailblazing Challenge Fund in the Highlands & Islands. Up to £120,000 of development funding is available for groundbreaking ideas in the use of technology and creative content to connect heritage and tourism.  There are three categories, and the winning proposal in each category can be awarded a maximum of £40,000. Entries are judged on the basis of innovation, commercial sensibility, and evidence of cross-sectoral collaboration.

Who is this for: Do you work in the fields of heritage, tourism, creative industries or ICT? Then this event was designed with you specifically in mind! We are looking for you to come up with quality project proposals that draws upon the best of these sectors.

Place & Time: 1000-1530 on the 21st November 2006, at Tulloch Castle Hotel, Dingwall.
Cost: Attendance is free. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Organisers: This event is organised by Highlands & Islands Enterprise and aimhi, in conjunction with BT, Fusion, and the European Union Northern Periphery Programme.
