aimhi activities

aimhi members, the vast majority which are private sector businesses, have taken the time to represent the northern half of Scotland  in a wide range of activities at regional, national and international level. From linking up with skills initiatives in London to helping shape public policy in Edinburgh; from building partnerships in continental Europe to networking events on the shores of Loch Ness; we believe in keeping members busy. Do as much as you want, as much as you can be passionate about.

Benefits accrue in several ways. Firstly, through aimhi activities, you get the valuable opportunity to network across levels, from the Controllers of national broadcasters to the CEOs of Britain's largest and most successful media companies. Secondly, our ability to get regional and national press gives heightened awareness and increased brand equity to all creative businesses based in the Highlands & Islands. Thirdly, aimhi has brokered business deals that have directly, positively, and significantly impacted the businesses of many member businesses. Fourthly, membership means deep discounts and even expenses paid participation in aimhi events. Finally, thanks to the generosity of our corporate partners, aimhi is now able to offer its members discounts and/or benefits at partnering stores ranging from legal advice to computer hardware. More details are available at the members-only section.

Friends are very important to us. aimhi can never have gotten to where we are now without the generous support of our friends. A big thank you goes out to the following organisations and individuals who have supported aimhi in the short time that we have been around:
