aimhi Newsletter September 2008 Coming Soon to Fort William!The first digital cinema in the Highlands and IslandsCroft Digital Cinema will provide a fully refurbished fabulous venue – with very comfortable seats, stylish new decoration, improved acoustics, Dolby Digital sound reproduction and high definition digital cinema projection – all at the cutting edge of this developing technology and available within two cinema screening facilities – 85 and 35 seats. The cinema will operate 7 days a week, screening at least two performances each evening as well as selected matinees. A mixed programme will be presented to cater for a wide range of contemporary cinema audience tastes. Local, archive and specialist programming will be included as well as selected non-cinema presentations such as live relays of music events.
